The MGC was produced in relatively small numbers and remains one of the most distinctive and desirable members of the classic MG family. Powered by the larger six-cylinder engine, the MGC offered considerably more performance than the familiar MGB while retaining the traditional British roadster character that made these cars so popular.

This particular example has a wonderful history, having been owned by the same lady for approximately 35 years. Prior to her ownership, the car belonged to an upholsterer, which perhaps helps explain the exceptional standard to which the interior has been restored and maintained.

The quality of this MGC has been recognised within the marque, having received more than one MG concours award.
